10 best work vans in Australia (2026 update)

There aren’t many business decisions more important than getting the right van. Spend too much and you’ll struggle to make repayments, skimp on costs and you might end up with something that doesn’t suit your needs.

The right van makes all the difference. Factors like the size, suitability for where it’s going to be driven and, of course, the price should all be considered.

We’ve come up with a list of the 10 best work vans in Australia for 2026. This includes a list of their features, carrying capacity, driveaway prices and more.

Large vans

Before you start looking for a van, you should at the very least know the rough size you want. To help, weโ€™ve split this list into two categories: large vans and medium vans.

For us, weโ€™ve classed a large van as ones that have more than 10mยณ interior cargo space over 10mยณ and can carry payloads above 1,500 kg.
